FAQs – CGT Networking

“Celebrating Local Life” in Cheshire’s Golden Triangle

Who is CGT Networking?

My name is Jacqui Priestley — I’m the owner and editor of Cheshire’s Golden Triangle Magazine, and the founder of the new, forward-thinking, modern, proactive, and inclusive networking group CGT Networking.

I live in Wilmslow — my family live and work here, my grandchildren go to school here, my friends are here, I socialise here… you get the idea! Local people, residents, and business owners are my people, and I truly care about them.

So when I talk about supporting our local community, this really is my community. As you read these FAQs, I hope it becomes clear why my team and I set up CGT Networking — and what it means to us.

What is the group’s vision?

Our vision is for CGT Networking to become the go-to community for high-performing local business owners and entrepreneurs based in and around Cheshire’s Golden Triangle.

We aim to support one another through genuine collaboration, sharing real business opportunities that benefit our wider community — not just through words, but through action.

Where will CGT Networking meet?

Our first few meetings are already organised for December, in Wilmslow and Prestbury.

Future events are planned for Mottram St Andrews, Handforth, Alderley Edge, Mobberley, Knutsford, and other Wilmslow venues. There’s so much to look forward to!

Is this a membership organisation, or can you ‘pay as you go’? What are the costs?

You don’t need to become a member — there’s no membership fee.

Simply keep an eye on our website and socials for upcoming meetings. Once you find a date and location that suits you, just register online, choose your meal, and pay the £25 fee, which includes everything.

It really is that simple!

Will there be any additional costs?

No — there are no hidden charges and nothing extra to pay.

This group exists to support our local Golden Triangle business community — not to make a profit. The real value will come when members begin to pass genuine business referrals and collaborate for mutual success — one of CGT Networking’s core goals.

Will there be exclusivity for certain business types or industries?

No — CGT Networking is inclusive, collaborative, and supportive.

Rather than excluding anyone, we welcome all local business owners. There’s plenty of opportunity within our affluent Golden Triangle community for everyone to thrive.

We don’t believe in “locking out” our neighbours — we believe in working together.

Will there be targets or attendance expectations?

Oh my goodness — no!

CGT Networking is all about Celebrating Local Life in Cheshire’s Golden Triangle — enjoying the connections, opportunities, and sense of community we share.

So, just watch this space… because 2026 will bring a whole new wave of activity to our Golden Triangle.

This is just the start! Jacqui x
